Miracle Babies was founded by Marjan and Dr. Sean Daneshmand. Dr. Daneshmand a board-certified obstetrician with extensive experience caring for women with high-risk pregnancies and Marjan Daneshmand who experienced a  high- risk pregnancy with their daughter Natalie being born prematurely.

Miracle Babies was founded in San Diego, California in 2009 providing financial assistance to NICU parents. Today, Miracle Babies helps families in the following ways: 

Transportation services, Mental Health Services, Care Packages and community drive thru diaper distributions. 

Miracle Babies serves families with hospitalized newborns in  San Diego County hospital, Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC), UCI Medical Center in Orange County, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA). Our geographic reach is much wider, however: infants are often transported from neighboring counties. In fact, families from as far away as Saipan and Hawaii have benefited from our programs.
