Meet Wyatt, born 7-19-2019 weighing 3lbs. 6 oz. and 15 3/4 inches long, at 32 weeks gestation. He was taken by emergency c-section because his mom Kassie was diagnosed with HELLPS Syndrome on the morning of the 18th. He spent 51 days in the NICU at Tri-City Medical Center, and was discharged on September 8th.
Wyatt just celebrated his 1st birthday and is now 18 lbs 8 ozs and 28 inches long, and trying to running. Kassie reflects, ‘this last year has been an interesting one, between managing a premature baby through flu season to dealing with a pandemic. Wyatt continues to amaze us with how well he is doing and we could not be more thankful to all the support we have gotten from the hospital staff and Miracle Babies since the beginning.
Miracle babies helped us offset some of the fuel and food cost we endured during or 51 days of traveling 80 miles roundtrip from home to hospital. Thank you so much for all your continued support for us and for all the Miracle Babies out there!” Happy Birthday Wyatt we look forward to seeing you grow!
