Miracle Baby Kalaya

August 2021

This amazing little miracle, Kalaya, was born on April 13, 2021 at only 26 weeks and 5 days. She was just under 2 pounds at birth. Miracle Babies first met Kalaya’s mom, Krista, back in April when she requested transportation to and from the hospital due to a c-section birth. After a c-section, many mothers cannot drive themselves for 2-4 weeks. This is where MiracleBabies can step in and help parents get to the hospital to see their newborn(s). It was such a pleasure getting to know Krista and her family on our daily rides!

 

After 84 days in the NICU, and on the 4th of July, Kalaya was finally discharged from the hospital! She is now home with her mom and an older brother who absolutely adore her!
