Miracle Baby Harley went home the first weekend of August after 83 days in the NICU. Harley was born at 26 weeks weighing 1 pound and 14 ounces. Miracle Mom Sarah, a cancer survivor, wasnt sure she would ever be able to have children due to three years of chemotherapy. Sarah quickly became pregnant and had a typically healthy pregnancy, followed closely due to her medical history. However, her water broke on May 12th, 2018 and Harley was born the next day on Mothers Day: 14 weeks prematurely. Harley is now doing great at home, without any medical issues.
Miracle Mom participated in Miracle Hours while Harley was in the hospital and benefited from our family assistance program. With these funds, the family was able to fix their cars to safely drive to and from the hospital and take Harley home safely.
Harleys parents are grateful to the support they have received from Miracle Babies and say a million thanks would never be enough. We will be forever thankful. Miracle Babies has made an enormous impact and help us so much.
