Dr. Christina and Alexandra Bartsch have been volunteering at Miracle Babies Diaper Distribution Drives since our inaugural distribution in May 2020.Miracle Babies is very special to the Bartsch family as Alexandra was a NICU baby born prematurely at 33 1/2 weeks and weighed a mere 3 pounds and 12 ounces.She spent the first two weeks of her life in an incubator in the NICU.Christina was at the NICU from opening to closing hours, she became friends with the nurses and noticed many of the NICU families didnt have much.She surprised the families by making gift baskets including a going home outfit for the babies when they graduated from the NICU in honor of Alexandra.
Christina is a graduate of the USC School of Dentistry and has been in private practice since 1996. Alexandra is a high school senior and has recently been accepted to the Nursing Program at Cal State Los Angeles. The dynamic duo are no strangers to volunteering. In addition to volunteering for Miracle Babies, and vaccination clinics the two volunteer for Fresh Start Surgical Gifts where Christina has provided free services for over 17 years. They both genuinely care about helping others in our community. Thank you Christina and Alexandra you truly are miracle workers!
